NEW YORK, January 16, 2019 – Hearst Autos today announced two promotions within Jumpstart Automotive Media, its in-market sales division. Sam Shanahan has been named Midwest director and Kyle Taylor has been elevated to East Coast director. The announcement was made by Hearst Autos President and Chief Revenue Officer Nick Matarazzo, to whom they will report.

Shanahan, who was formerly an account director, is based in the Royal Oak, MI, office of Hearst Autos. Taylor, who was promoted from integrated sales director, is based in the division’s New York City office.

Shanahan and Taylor join West Coast Director Lori Mertz in leading in-market revenue generation for Jumpstart’s high-performance advertising solutions both at the national level and regionally.

Hearst Autos encompasses Car and Driver, Road & Track, Jumpstart Automotive Media, and all automotive editorial, sales and marketing functions for Hearst Magazines, offering a full-funnel solution for auto manufacturers and dealers to guide shoppers from inspiration to purchase.
