As president of Hearst Autos, Matarazzo leads vision and establishes priority in bringing together the company's industry-leading automotive media business into one, dedicated full-service division. For the past 7 years, Matarazzo has served as CEO of Jumpstart Automotive Media, where he refined the company's mission and strategy and drove 5 straight years of record-breaking revenue growth. Prior to Jumpstart, he rose through the sales and marketing organization of Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. (HFM U.S.) to become executive vice president and group publishing director, overseeing brand strategy and marketing for the Men's Enthusiast Network (Car and Driver, Road & Track, and Cycle World).
Chief Operating Officer
A startup and digital media veteran, Choon helps define and execute strategy to drive company growth. As the Chief Operating Officer, he oversees strategy & business development, ad product, publisher development, revenue operations, lead operations, and Jumpstart Canada.
Prior to Hearst Autos and Jumpstart, Choon spent several years in a broad range of business development and senior operating roles at early stage startups and large corporations, including Delivery Agent, Chipshot.com, Gap Inc. and LVMH.
Choon has been featured in leading industry publications such as iMedia Connection, MediaPost, and Automotive Digest and is a founding member of the Automotive Executives Association.
Chief Product Officer
With more than a decade in digital automotive marketing and a background in design, Searcy drives the company's product strategy with an eye for detail and a consumer-first mindset. Before joining Hearst Autos, Searcy co-founded online car shopping site, CarLingo, managing consumer marketing, branding, and the site's official launch. Prior to that, he spent 9 years at Autotrader where he served in a broad range of design, operations, and product roles. While leading the company's advertising products group and innovations in new car and CPO programs, Autotrader experienced 5 consecutive years of revenue growth.
Chief Content Officer
Known in the automotive industry and beyond as a respected journalist with extensive experience in both print and digital content, Alterman oversees all editorial aspects of the Hearst Autos business. Since 2009, he has been editor-in-chief of Car and Driver where he has relentlessly expanded the brand into digital, mobile, and social platforms and reinvigorated the printed magazine. Prior to joining Car and Driver, Alterman founded two automotive publications—MPH magazine and automotive-lifestyle website, motivemag.com—while serving as the car columnist for Men's Journal and contributing to The New York Times.
Chief Technology Officer
A startup and digital publishing veteran, Mannion leads the company's overall technology strategy and vision, ensuring technology aligns with the business and product portfolio needs. Before joining Hearst Autos, he was chief technology officer at POLITICO where he led product and technology strategy as well as the site's original vision, design, and architecture. Prior to that, he held multiple management and hands-on roles at NASA, Northrop Grumman, and Allbritton Communications. Mannion has also served as an advisor to ad:tech North America and is a regular panelist at events such as the Digiday Publisher Conference.
Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Jill Meenaghan leads the planning, development, and execution of all automotive brand marketing and advertising initiatives across the Hearst Autos portfolio, and works with clients and partners to build high-performance advertising campaigns. Prior to joining Hearst Autos, Meenaghan was associate publisher and group marketing director for Hearst Men's Group where she leveraged the brands' multi-platform capabilities into scalable programs across brands such as Car and Driver, Esquire, Popular Mechanics, and Road & Track. In 2015, Meenaghan was recognized by Adweek as of the "15 Young Innovators Who Will Change the Magazine Business," and as one of Folio's Top Women in Media.
Jason "JK" Koenigsknecht
Vice President of National Sales, Jumpstart Automotive Media
Koenigsknecht manages national sales revenue across all Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive manufacturers and their supporting agencies.
He has a 17-year history in the automotive marketing sector developing, planning, and implementing cross-platform solutions for all the major auto manufacturers. Koenigsknecht has managed digital and new media sales at some of the world's largest media companies, including Time Inc., Gannett, and Hachette Filipacchi Media. He has also worked with major Midwest-based brands Kimberly-Clark, Wendy's, Progressive Corporation, Sherwin-Williams, KAO Brands Company, and many others.
A self-described "automotive marketing nerd," Koenigsknecht lives in Troy, MI with his wife Christen and their four children.
Senior Vice President of Dealer Network & Enterprise Sales
A 19-year automotive industry veteran, Tom is responsible for the strategy and execution of reseller and direct-to-dealer business,and creating a unified tier 3 sales strategy. As part of his role, he also hires, trains, and develops the dealer sales organization. Before joining Hearst Autos, Tom spent more than 12 years in various sales and marketing leadership positions at Autotrader, including its subsidiaries, VinSolutions and Haystak Digital Marketing. He was also part of the core team that evolved Haystak from a standalone business to a fully integrated Autotrader product.
Publisher & Chief Revenue Officer, Car and Driver
Felix DiFilippo was named senior vice president, integrated sales, automotive of Hearst Autos in June 2017, where he oversees all advertising initiatives across the Hearst Magazines portfolio. He has also been publisher and chief revenue officer of Car and Driver and Road & Track since 2012 where he is directly responsible for the advertising and marketing efforts of these two brands on all platforms: print, tablet, online, mobile, social and events.
